Friday March 27th, 2020

  • full north departure to follow part of the network complex of the Caniapiscau River
  • turn East mid-day to head towards the Labrador Border following straight geological construction leading to Menihek  Lake

monday april 1st, 2020 (240 km)

  • We continue our journey eastward in exploration on a new route to sneak on the Mc Phadyen River and reach the Grand Lake Menihek in Labrador
  • Lunch in the forest and road north on Lake Menihek to join the Naskapi Community of Schefferville in the evening
  • supper and night as twin occupancy in Hôtel in Schefferville

tuesday april 2d, 2020 (260 km)

  • early start for a big stage that will make us start on the trail of Naskapi trappers towards the River Depas
  • Lunch in the forest
  • descent of the Depas River to its intersection with the George River at Twin River
  • ascent to the south of the Nain plateau

  • Arrival by pack ice at Inuit Village of Nain last inhabited village on the east coast of Labrador (Nunatsiavut)

  • day of rest and refurbishment / refueling in Nain that will allow you to get in touch with the Inuit population and enjoy the exotic atmosphere of this coastal village open on the ice and the Kiglapet Mountains

  • last marathon day on and off the track to Labrador City via the TLT semi-serviced trail (Trans Labrador Trail)
