Nord Expé staff of snowmobile and ATV trainers and guides
All the members of our professional snowmobile and ATV guide crew are first aid course graduated and are specialized in remote region cross-country snowmobile expedition guidance. They all fit to the strict Nord Expe Quality charter. They are all of them certified level IV guides* Former competitors but overall winners on ski-doo, they are known and recognized in the snowmobile industry.
*The off-road vehicules guide certificate is a new course built by a commission involving tourism ministry, transportation ministry and Quebec tourism human resources council. The level obtained (I up to IV) is a picture of the expertise, the experience and the abilities of the guide. This grade fit to the difficulty grade of the rally or snowmobile expedition that the guide is allowed to lead on or out of the snowmobile trails.The difficulty of the ride tells the ratio (guides Vs rider) we must apply and grade of the guides. All of our guides are certified Grade IV that is the higher level.

Chrystel Martin
Québec snowmobile raid coordinator
Chrystel has tested every snowmobile rallies there is in Quebec and Labrador with the guides. Able to explain every snowmobile tours we have, she’ll create the perfect fit for your travel.
Chrystel is the main Guardian Angel at Nord Expe, live monitoring the tracking of all the expeditions thanks to our satellite trackers, she guides us when needed, organises logistics and coordinate operations.
Pierre Challier
Level IV snowmobile guide, Certified trainer
Snowmobile guide in Canada since 1999, former soldier on a fighter plane, he is an instructor of survival techniques in extreme conditions. Expedition leader for a 2003 Labrador Tour of Labrador record, he still learns from his arctic adventures he wants unique every time. Trainer of the ORV guide course.
Arnaud Challier
Level IV Snowmobile guide, Certified trainer.
Arnaud joined our team after a few years as a substitute guide ! He has now acquired a very solid experience. Arnaud loves to share his passion for snowmobiles and winter season. He is also a level IV guide and certified trainer.
Lou Gallant
Level IV Snowmobile guide, Certified trainer.
Straight here coming from the outdoors area and loving the winter sports in all its forms, Lou joined our team through the back door and made his way to becoming one of the pillars of Nord Expé. Level IV guide and snowmobile certified trainer, Lou climbed the ladder thanks to his work, talent and enthusiasm. He’s now a part of our small team of dedicated off-trail guides ! Lou is also a Skidoo junior technician.
Kelyan Detcheverry
Training manager, certified trainer and level III snowmobile guide.
Kelyan joined our La Malbaie team in 2022. Kelyan is Seadoo, ATV/STV and Skidoo guide. He will easily share his passion for the full-scale motorsports with you. Kelyan also is a certified snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle trainer. He is our Quality, Security and Training manager.
Maxime Mannevy
Level I snowmobile guide.
Maxime is part of our team since july 2024 at the skidoo/Can-Am center of experience in La Malbaie. He started All-terrain vehicle guiding, then he stayed on the adventure with us in snowmobile. Especially attentive to customers, he knows very well our territory. Maxime is a Can-Am and SKIDOO Junior technician.
Patrick Tailleme
Level II snowmobile guide.
Patrick joined the restricted circle of the Nord Expe snowmobile guides family. He knows exactly how to communicate his passion and the basic technics for a safe trail snowmobile riding. Long snowmobile travel fan, he has a special talent to conduct the customers with fervor. His taste for adventure allows him to guide groups off-trail !
Éliott Labrot
Level I Off road vehicule guide
Éliott joined the “La Malbaie” team in the summer of 2025 as an ATV/SSV guide. A motocross rider since a young age, Éliott quickly mastered the techniques and is expected to join our team of instructors very soon.

A certified outdoor guide specializing in canoeing, Pier-Luc has joined the Nord Expé family. Rigorous and multidisciplinary, he will passionately guide you through the SKIDOO adventure.
Rémi Dagenais
Level 1 Snowmobile Guide
A certified outdoor guide and seasoned athlete, Rémi is our youngest guide. His rigor and energy suggest he has excellent skills to guide you on snowmobiles.
Evie Stokvis
Level 1 Snowmobile Guide
A certified outdoor guide specializing in sea kayaking, Evie has traded her boat for tracked vehicles for the winter.
We are proud to have such a talented and enthusiastic young woman on our team of guides as she embarks on this new experience.
